Bettie Jane
(Utterback) Bryant has been dancing since age 9 with an emphasis on tap.
She was born and raised in Frederick, Maryland and studied all forms of
dance with Betty Lou Cavalier and Julia Mayer. In addition, Bettie Jane has
studied with professional entertainers, instructors and choreographers
nationwide since 1961. Miss Bettie has been teaching students of all ages
and levels for over 40 years. She began her studio at the young age of 13.
Bettie Jane is a member of Dance Masters of America, Inc. (DMA), Chapter 17
and President of the Del/Mar/Va Chapter 49 of NADAA (National Association of
Dance and Affiliated Artists). She is also a convention instructor for
NADAA in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
Bettie Jane
has an extremely qualified faculty of twelve instructors, all of which grew
up dancing with and learning from her. All of the staff members at Bettie
Jane's Center of Dance Art share Miss Bettie's love for dance and dance
education.
